Mastercard's Player of the Match Soundtracks
During Rugby World Cup 2023, each Player of the Match will receive a Mastercard Soundtrack Trophy which is created following the player’s performance during the match. This Soundtrack Trophy encapsulates the story of the match through a musical performance woven with highlights from the official broadcast commentary, fan cheers and Mastercard’s unique Sonic identity.
This is all thanks to critically acclaimed French music producer, Surkin, who composed the bespoke instrumental tracks, then mixed with lyrics and performances by our remarkable emerging French musical artists, Songø and Philippine to create truly bespoke soundtracks for each match.
